nQS Error 37005 - Transactional Update Failed

If you see this error in your RPD, do not get freaked out or close your RPD without making changes. 

Navigate to OBIEE installation folder:

\instances\instance1\diagnostics\logs\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obis1

Open “nqserver.log” file and you will see some warnings related to Trailing or leading spaces in table names or column names.

eg:

Logical Column' '"Business Operations - Go All Digitals"."DgenDim - Call"."Transf From Func Key "' has name with leading or trailing space(s). [[

'Logical Column' '"Business Operations - Go All Digitals"."Fact - Dig Trans Status Progression"."# Cuml Completed Cust "' has name with leading or trailing space(s).

'Logical Column' '"Business Operations - Go All Digitals"."Fact - Dig Trans Status Progression"."# Dlv Not Cmplt Cust "' has name with leading or trailing space(s).

'Logical Column' '"Business Operations - Go All Digitals"."Fact - Dig Trans Status Progression"."# Cuml Minibox Hndl Calls "' has name with leading or trailing space(s).

Remove all these spaces and try saving your RPD. This should resolve your problem. Let me know if this helps.
